Privacy Policy

last updated 2026.08.21

01 — Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to operate: your Discord user ID and server IDs when you use our bots, basic analytics (page views, referrers, coarse region), and anything you voluntarily send us such as support messages or email addresses.

02 — How we use it

Data is used to deliver and improve our services, run moderation and ticketing features you enable, diagnose faults, and communicate launch and product updates. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party ad networks.

03 — Storage and retention

Records are stored on encrypted infrastructure and retained only while your server uses Nectar, plus a short backup window. Removing our bot from a server triggers deletion of that server's configuration and logs within 30 days.

04 — Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, error monitoring) under contractual confidentiality, or when legally compelled.

05 — Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Contact us in the Nectar Development Discord and we will respond within 30 days.

06 — Children

Nectar is not directed to anyone under 13, or under the minimum age required by Discord in your region. We delete data we learn belongs to such a user.

07 — Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced in our Discord before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
